Africa: The Serengeti, An Imax Nature Documentary

Africa: The Serengeti is an Imax documentary, which features some amazing nature footage and follows a year in the "circle of life" of the Serengeti, including both Kenya and Tanzania. If you love African animals, you will love the footage of the annual migration of wildebeests, zebras and antelope.

This Imax film, Africa: The Serengeti, was fourth on the list of the best Imax blu-ray movies in 2008. Definitely a top-rated choice if you love nature documentaries.

On this page, you will find a brief discussion of this nature film, including short customer reviews, a link to an excellent and more detailed blu-ray movie review and the movie or video trailer or clip. You will also find links to buy Africa: The Serengeti from Amazon. I find Amazon to be very competitive with their pricing. They are most often priced considerably lower than the recommended list price plus, if your order totals $25 or more, they offer FREE shipping.

Amazon Customer Reviews of Africa: The Serengeti

Watch this film BEFORE you go to Africa.

It is interesting the number of Amazon customer reviewers who actually watched this film BEFORE they went to the African Serengeti and then went on to make comments about how accurate and how beautiful this Imax film is. In addition, D.J. Nardi praised the blu-ray quality. The Real Truth emphasized that this film is ideal for those who believe in the Circle of Life, saying he watched it three times in a row and every time, he caught more detail and information. He added that if you view this with low lighting, you will feel like you are actually on the Serengeti with narrator James Earl Jones!
