Disneynature's Earth was a joint BBC, Greenwich and Discovery Channel Production, which was was hotly anticipated and opened in theatres on Earth Day, April 22, 2009. Some loved Earth, others were disappointed.

These are all amazing videos but I have to admit that this one, featuring statements by the children of today about how they can save the environment for future generations, gave me goosebumps. It is short and sweet.

Disney Planted A Tree For Every Ticket Sold
Disney offered to plant a tree for every ticket sold for this film in the first week of its release. The tree was to be planted in the North Atlantic Rainforest in Brazil which is 'highly threatened.' You could do the same as a gift for someone in your family. Take a family member to see a wonderful nature-oriented film like this and plant a tree in their name. Beautiful!
