The Royal Collection Movies Boxed Set

The Royal Collection shown here is a Canadian-released boxed set of royalty-themed movies that I chanced upon recently. It includes five unforgettable movies PLUS a commemorative bookmark and postcard set.

When I first wrote this, The Royal Collection was somewhat hard to obtain but was avaialbe from a few eBay sellers. However, now it is readily available from Amazon and eBay.

• The King's Speech (2010) - Starring Colin Firth, Geoffrey Rush and Helena Bonham Carter. A brilliant movie, The King’s Speech, deals with King George VI’s taking of the throne and how he used speech therapy to prove himself worthy of the role of King of England.

• Vanity Fair (2004) - Starring Reese Witherspoon, Romola Garai, James Purefoy, Jonathan Rhys Meyers and Gabriel Byrne. In this movie, Becky Sharp climbs the social ladder in London despite a proverty-stricken beginning.
